Internet of Things Best in Breed Advanced Incubator 6 - Deadline Imminent

The Internet of Things Best in Breed 6 Advanced Incubator aims to support start-ups with innovative challenges to Internet of Things (IoT) and wearable technologies.

IoT describes solutions involving dynamics such as sensing, filtering data, acting on context, in significant markets that include:

  • Fitness and wellness
  • Healthcare
  • Smart Home
  • Manufacturing
  • Transportation
  • Energy

The incubator supports those companies that want to deliver IoT that respond to the real needs of people and companies. Breed Reply will select the smartest teams working on IoT enabled businesses, helping them grow with intensive support for the first twelve months. It will work hands-on with them to build a long-term relationship in order to scale the business through a strong go-to-market strategy supported by Reply's network.

Breed Reply offers financial, entrepreneurial and managerial support with:

  • an offer of investment funding, made in cash;
  • one year of tailored support; and
  • go-to-market long-term commitment.

There is no detailed information about the value of the funding, as each deal is unique. To give an indication of the level of support that could be provided, in previous rounds, investment has consisted of a total of £2,435 for shareholding varying between 20% and 70% is part of Reply's development strategy on the Internet of Things and Wearable Technologies.

The programme offers three fundamental services: funding at "seed" and "early stage" level; considerable support with significant know how transfer of business, managerial and technological expertise; and medium-term involvement to establish start-ups in their market.

Seed, start-up and early stage evolving young businesses in the UK may apply. The business should be looking for seed funding and be ready to disrupt the market to become a leader in the Internet of Things world. Breed Reply accepts ideas and individuals or partial teams at a very early stage.

Applicants do not need to relocate to London. However, Breed Reply does offer desks in London for doing business in the UK and work with Breed Reply face-to-face.

Applications must be submitted by 30 March 2017.
