FSB and Worldpay Business Awards Open for 2017 with Imminent Deadline
The FSB and Worldpay Business Awards recognise smaller businesses in the UK for their achievements. The awards are designed to reward the excellence, resilience and innovation of SMEs operating across the country.
Entrants can select and enter one or more of the 11 business categories:
- Business & Product Innovation Award
- Micro Business of the Year
- Online Business of the Year
- Ethical Business of the Year
- Business Exporter of the Year
- Best Start Up of the Year
- Best Family Business of the Year
- Young Entrepreneur of the Year
- Community Business of the Year
- Employer of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement Award
The highest scoring four entries in each category will go forward to a national judging panel to determine who receives the accolade of national category winner.
The awards will be presented at an event to be held on 10 May 2017 in London, hosted by Tim Campbell MBE, the first winner of BBC TV’s ‘The Apprentice’. This is when the national category winners will be announced and where they will be awarded a cash prize of £2,000. The judges will also announce the business they have chosen as the overall winner which will be awarded ‘FSB & Worldpay UK Business of the Year 2017’ – with an additional cash prize of £10,000.
The Awards are open to all businesses with fewer than 250 employees that are operating in the UK.
Entries for the 2017 Awards close at midnight on 17 February 2017.
