Co-operation and Supply Chain Development: New Round Open (Wales)
Co-operation and Supply Chain Development is provided by the Welsh Government as part of Wales’ Rural Development Programme 2014-2020.
The Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme is a seven year European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) programme funded by the European Union and Welsh Government.
Under the Co-operation and Supply Chain Development, the RDP will help to develop shorter supply chains, and local markets including food tourism. The Welsh Government will build on successful interventions such as community growing projects and food co-operatives to help strengthen and highlight the importance of quality local food and drink and to improve its accessibility.
The indicative funding available for each ‘window’ will be published in advance on the Welsh Government website. For previous rounds, the maximum grant threshold per enterprise for any individual co-operation project has been £10 million, with a minimum grant threshold per enterprise for any individual co-operation project of £2,400.
Agricultural businesses in Wales may apply.
The next deadline for Expressions of Interest to be submitted is 20 December 2017.
